Welcome to Climate Impact LA

Climate Impact LA was born out of the growing calls for environmental justice in Los Angeles and the urgency with which action is needed in the city. Los Angeles is a diverse and progressive city that sets an example for the world on environmental issues, yet for decades problems of environmental racism, climate-related public health concerns, and corporate environmental irresponsibility have festered. Climate Impact LA is meant to expose some of the less publicized impacts of climate change on communities in LA, and to give a platform for Angelenos to hold LA's leaders accountable to an ambitious environmental agenda. Through videos and blog posts highlighting these issues, as well as campaigns targeting specific calls to action, Climate Impact LA hopes to inform and empower LA's residents in pursuit of environmental justice and a sustainable future.
